Koko & Ki: The Flower thing

Bohemian Bliss: Photographing our Flower work.

A wired boho-inspired bouquet. Wired means that the rose or flower heads are cut off the stem and then attached to a piece of wire. When you wire flowers, you can control and manipulate the way that they will sit in a bouquet. It's a labour intensive floristry technique but worthwhile if you want to achieve a certain look or style.

So I've started to photograph some of our boho-inspired floral creations for a flower portfolio for prospective clients. Next, I will be creating a bunch of tropical Island-style floral arrangements to shoot. The plan is to do flower work to fund the Koko & Ki stationery line. Yup. I have just completed another Samoan Journal idea with an entirely different concept and vibe. However, I just have to see how the first book goes before I can send it to print!

Meanwhile, I am only days away from receiving the first Koko & Ki journal OLAGA SAMOA Samoan Lifestyle. Have you seen it? Read about it here.
